As you can see, the anaesthetist's fee as a percentage of the surgeon's fee varies from 35.4 % to 62.6 %, if you exclude the Minor cases where the percentage can go up to 84.0 %. Hence, our 35 % is right at the bottom of the recommended range of fees for the anaesthetists.
As our fees is already in the lowest range, I think we are well justified in
asking for a minimum fee for minor cases where the anaesthetic risks far
outweigh the surgical risks.
