Wandering ECG Baseline
If you have ever tried to correct the ECG tracing on the HP monitors so that
both the size and the baseline are correct, you'll know how difficult it can be.
Although you can adjust the scale manually so that the ECG size is correct,
there does not seem to be any way to bring the baseline back to the correct
position.

Notice how the ECG is way above the baseline.
Sometimes, the ECG may be the wrong size as well, although this
is not shown in this illustration.
Fear not, help is at hand.
- First, take a deep breath and count to ten.
- Now that you have calmed down, let's get on with it. Press the following
keys in the order given:-
- Parameters/Module Setup
- ECG (make sure the Change Lead option is already selected)
- Right arrow (to change the selected lead)
- Left arrow (to select the original lead again)
- Standard Display
- Voila, you've done it. Now sit back and enjoy the view!
With some luck, the display should now look more like the figure below.

Notice the baseline at the correct position and the ECG at just
the correct size.
