Due to requests from members, I submitted a request for a price revision of the two articles mentioned above.
Only after written (8 Dec 1999 and 4 May 2000 {NB: This was c.c.'ed to Dr. Jacob Thomas}) and verbal (6 April 2000 and 21 April 2000) reminders did I receive an official reply on 5 May 2000.
As the LMA price was not mentioned in the first reply, I wrote to her again on 10 May 2000 and this time, I received a reasonably prompt reply on 25 May 2000.
As you can see, while the LMA remains at RM 83.50, we have successfully reduced the price of the RAE tube from RM 102.00 to RM 21.70 and shockingly, the price of a normal ETT has also been reduced from RM 24.60 to RM 11.40 although we had not requested for a price revision for this item.

So now, you can use the RAE tube without too much of a worry about the cost. However, the LMA remains an expensive proposition.
