SUBJECT                  Closure of Surgical A - South Tower & ENT - North Tower

According to our historical data, during the Hari Raya festive season, most of our regular Specialists will be away and bed occupancy is usually low. As such, Management has decided to close the above wards. This move will also give our Muslim staff the opportunity to have time off to celebrate the occasion.

Surgical A - ST and ENT - NT wards will close on Wednesday, 4 December 2002 at 2.00 pm. All admissions will then be channelled to the other wards in both North and South Tower.

Both the above wards will reopen on Wednesday, 11 December 2002 at 2.00 pm. Operatinq Theatre Services

During the festive period, Operating Theatre services will be reduced as follows:­

Emergency Operating Theatre services will continue to be provided as per norm.

We regret any inconvenience caused by this arrangement. Kindly contact Nursing Administration (Ms Chin Choon Boay/ Ms Tan Bee Hoon) or the DNA for assistance or clarification during this period.
