Dear Ms. Quah,

Cleaning of Anaesthetic Drug Trolleys, Anaesthetic Machine Work Surfaces and Anaesthetic Drug Trays, and Checking of Soda-lime Absorber

After discussion among the anaesthetists, it is felt that the above matter has not been adequately attended to.

To ensure the continued maintenance of the high standards for which Subang Jaya Medical Centre is well known, we are recommending that the above items be cleaned or checked, as appropriate, on a twice a day basis at the end of each anaesthetic session.

Please inform the relevant staff in both North and South Tower Operating Theatres of the above requirements.
